Content Pillars That Plan a Month in a Weekend
By Wren Calloway · Jul 8, 2026 · 8 min read
The creators who post consistently are not more disciplined than you. They just decide less often. Content pillars — four repeating themes — turn "what should I post?" from a daily crisis into a quarterly decision.
Here is the framework I give every client. Pillar one is Teach: the how-tos, breakdowns, and tutorials that get saved and shared. Pillar two is Show: behind-the-scenes, process clips, and honest work-in-progress — this is what builds trust. Pillar three is Relate: stories, opinions, and everyday moments that make you a person instead of a feed. Pillar four is Invite: clear calls to your offers, newsletter, or community — because an audience you never invite anywhere is just an audience.
The weekend batch method
Once your pillars are set, batching is mechanical. Saturday morning: draft four Teach posts from one idea, sliced four ways. Saturday afternoon: film three Show clips in one setup — same lighting, different shirts if you are fancy. Sunday: write two Relate stories from your camera roll and schedule one Invite. Twelve posts, one weekend, pillars balanced for the month.
The magic is not the volume; it is the ratio. When every week contains teaching, showing, relating, and inviting, your account grows followers and customers at the same time — instead of alternating between the two.
Keep the pillars, rotate the proof
Pillars are permanent; examples are seasonal. The same Teach pillar can carry a beginner tutorial in January and an advanced teardown in June. Review quarterly: which pillar gets the most saves? Double down there, and let the weakest one borrow formats from the strongest.
The full system — pillar worksheets, a 30-day calendar, and 100 prompt starters — lives inside the Social Media Strategies Mastery Class.
